| About Me: | All born in Laos came to the projects of Bell Town, CA in the 1980's. 15 Laos families all related then found a brand new apartment called Victoria Heights Apartments aka Lincoln Apartments. They all moved there immediately so they can be close. The LaoThugZ were then all trouble makers. They affiliated with the 2800 Blocc Crips and when they were in the there early early teens. All of the present day LaothugZ were jumped in. By 1994 a member of the family of LaoThugZ got murdered by a Hispanic gang member from a gang known as Riverside Locos. After the murder, LaoThugZ branched out of the Crips gang and formed LaoThugZ and older members formed LaoBoyZ. LaoThugZ and LaoBoyZ together now have over 100 members, some in jail some veterans and most still active. In the year 2000, when 8 members of LaoThugZ got together and started to think about making records but knew they can't because no one wanted to spend so much money on equipment. Later on in the year they robbed people, stole cars and sold them for the equipments and mostly drugs. 2005 they made it big on the streets. Insane B sold CD's out of his trunk, leading to the demand of more tracks. They signed to Hustla Records. Present day, the streets are still demanding for more . |
